HOW WE MAKE ROCK

Making rock hasn’t changed over many years. This video was taken in 2005 at our very own Sandees Rock Factory in Blackpool. The head boiler is Paul and his job is to design the letters and all the colours. A ‘boiling’ takes around 1 to 1.5 hours from start to finish and in the height of summer we may have up to 20 staff wrapping and rolling the rock.
